unlike there being four seasons in a lot of places, the philippines has two seasons: wet (rainy) and dry season, due to the country's tropical climate. despite having spent nearly two years here, i haven't figured out which months either seasons start or end at. i'm not sure about the months that weren't mentioned. although, rainstorms, typhoons and floods seem to be most prominent during june to october, and temperatures seem to rise the most at december to march. the weather is also affected by the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), since the philippines is close to the equator, also making the weather somewhat inconsistent.
